A Case of Justice or A Case of Get F. Lee?

It was well known through out the McCorkle case that U.S. District Judge Patricia Fawsett disliked F. Lee Bailey. The Prosecutors are gloating over winning a case against ‘The Flea.’ After all, which attorney wouldn’t want to have a hit against Bailey?

Has there ever been in the history of the United States a telemarketer sentenced to more years than a murderer, a drug trafficker, rapist or robber? NO. There has never been a sentence as harsh as this one!

This is not a sentence against the McCorkles but a statement against their lead attorney that was so disliked by the government. Unfortunately, the McCorkles are suffering the wrath of attorney hatred.

Also, the government has ‘unclean hands.’ They claimed to fight for the rights of the so-called ‘victims’ but, as the case proved, there were VERY FEW VICTIMS compared to the total number of sales. As a result, there are hundreds of thousands of dollars in ESCROW that the US Government wants released to them. The government is NOT giving the money back to all the victims! Maybe the US Government needs to file a case against themselves for fraud – for they are not doing what they openly argued in court – helping the ‘VICTIMS.’

Another point is – during the trial, due to a gag order, the defendants had no contact with the jury and were told NOT TO SPEAK WITH THE MEDIA. But, the U.S. Government Prosecuting Attorneys were seen laughing and carrying on with the JURY and allowed documents and other court information to leak to the Media. The McCorkle team followed the rules. The government did not.

The jurors were told not to discuss the case – yet, jurors daily rode in car pools to the courthouse. They were together every day, day in and day out, for all the weeks of the trial. ‘AND THEY DID NOT DISCUSS THE CASE.’ If you believe that, then I want to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge.

You, the taxpayers are going to pay for the McCorkles time in a Federal penitentiary. At $200 dollars a day that adds up to over 5 million. The McCorkles had no prior criminal history. They were not drug traffickers, murderers or robbers. They are NOT A THREAT TO SOCIETY. Then why in H***  are they going to jail ?????    They have lost all their money and all their assets.

Isn’t that enough? Why take their lives.

Now who are the victims? You and I are. The taxpayers are the victims.
