Hi. I too watched the Trisha show
and to my dismay listened to Chantal's mother retell the story of her
daughter. It brought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes.
Being a mum myself I could feel her pain. The thought of not being
able to help your child, to hold them or to keep them safe - terrifies me.
Imagine being in the same boat-you can't, can you? I have written to
Chantal a couple of times and have had heartwarming replies.
She is a warm and caring person who doesn't deserve the sentence she has
been given. I urge all out there to share your sympathy with her and
encourage her to stay strong as although she may feel alone at times - she
isn't.
And to Chantal you remain in my prayers.
