To whom this may concern:

In 1996 I worked on Edgewater Dr. in Orlando Fl. for the McCorkles. I was a peon there, however I remember Chantal always taking the time to say hello and getting to know her employees. I was 18 years old at the time and this was one of my first jobs. Chantal was always very kind and put many programs in place to help her employees. Not only did she provide a lunch canteen that would rival most hospitals - or state buildings but also she had an employee loan program that from time to time enabled myself and I am sure others to be able to pay certain bills and such before payday. While working for them I was given a since of drive and motivation that I had not had before, and that has helped me succeed in my present life and career. (International Trade) My memories of William however aren't as lovely. I remember his verbally abusing certain employees for not making enough sales - or for making a personal phone call. It was well known around the office that he had a mouth worse than a sailor and would not hesitate to unleash it upon anyone. I no doubt envied Chantal also. I always thought that she had the dream life. She was absolutely gorgeous, with a successful business, and assets that I still will probably never attain in my life. I know now that she is not one to be envied for anything but her good heart and soul. There is nothing I think that I can do to help her unfortunate plight except write this email and hope it brings her a bit of peace in knowing that someone out there is thinking of her and hopes that she can get out soon and restore some order in her life. Even though I really do feel that Chantal was the victim in all of this and that William was the mastermind I think that his sentence was too harsh as well. In my opinion I would have liked to have seen the charges against Chantal dismissed and seen William get 5 to 10. Good luck and God speed Chantal!!!!!!

Sincerely,

Kimberly Ann Cape
