I have known Chantal for the better part of sixteen years, having been next door neighbors in business to
she and William in the late 80's. I have had only friendly contact with them both, so I won't degrade
him, but Chantal is someone special. From where we all stand, her sentence is tragic, but I'm sure
there have been a great number of inmates who, just by being near Chantal, have benefited, taking some of her with them, making our world a better place. I believe she will be soon freed, but until that time, I think she is helping people who may need her more than we do, for now.
